Mila D'Opiz Wellness
The term Wellness is much older than you would expect. the word wellness appears in an English dictionary for the first time in 1654 and is described as good health and well-being. Dr. Halbert L. Dunn (an American) was the first person to make the concept of wellness popular. In 1950 he made a slogan to promote health and exercise. the Wellness concept spread rapidly in the US in the 70s and since the 90s wellness has also become a household name in Europe.
For most people Wellness means a kind of drink against the daily stress. Wellness stands for holistic well-being and the opportunity to enjoy it. The balance between body and mind is an important theme. For wellness treatments it is therefore important to create a suitable atmosphere in the treatment room. it is in fact this comfort and the environment that influences the experience of feeling good.
Wellness and body balance are very personal matters. Beauty specialists, who help their clients achieve a better sense of well-being, need the ability to offer effective and modern treatments that encourage clients to feel good about themselves and experience it in their own way.
