PCA Skin Body Therapy 198.4 g
PCA Skin Body Therapy is an intensively hydrating and exfoliating body cream for dry, rough, flaky or dull-looking skin. Its formula combines 12% lactic acid with nourishing and moisture-binding ingredients to support smoother, softer and more even-looking skin.
Lactic acid helps loosen accumulated dead skin cells and supports natural skin renewal. Glycerine, ammonium lactate, shea butter and jojoba esters simultaneously hydrate and condition the skin.
The velvety cream absorbs quickly without leaving a heavy or strongly greasy layer. It is particularly suitable for rough areas on the arms, legs, elbows, knees and heels.
WHAT DOES PCA SKIN BODY THERAPY DO?
• Exfoliates body skin with 12% lactic acid.
• Helps remove accumulated dead skin cells.
• Softens dry, rough and flaky skin.
• Supports smoother-looking texture.
• Helps dull skin appear fresher and more radiant.
• Supports a more even-looking skin tone.
• Hydrates without leaving a heavy greasy film.

• Suits different skin types requiring exfoliation and hydration.
KEY INGREDIENTS
12% lactic acid
Lactic acid is an alpha hydroxy acid or AHA. It helps loosen the bonds between accumulated dead skin cells, allowing rough and dull skin to appear progressively smoother and fresher. Lactic acid also has moisture-binding properties.
Ammonium lactate
Supports the formula’s hydrating and smoothing action and helps soften dry, rough skin.
Glycerine
A humectant that helps retain water in the upper layers of the skin.
Jojoba esters
Soften the skin surface and support a supple, comfortable feel.
Shea butter
Nourishes dry skin and helps limit moisture loss without creating a heavy greasy sensation.
Gluconolactone
A polyhydroxy acid or PHA with hydrating and mildly exfoliating properties.
Vitamin E
Provides antioxidant care and helps keep the skin soft and supple.
Barley, sandalwood and Amur cork tree bark extracts
Complement the formula with botanical and antioxidant care.
SUITABLE FOR
• Dry and dehydrated body skin.
• Rough or flaky skin.
• Dull-looking body skin.
• Uneven-feeling texture.
• Rough upper arms and thighs.
• Dry elbows and knees.
• Rough heels.
• Skin requiring both exfoliation and hydration.
• Normal, dry and combination body skin.
Body Therapy may help make small rough bumps and uneven texture less noticeable. It is not a medicine for keratosis pilaris, eczema, psoriasis, acne or other skin conditions.
DIRECTIONS
Apply generously to the body once daily, preferably immediately after bathing or showering. Massage gently until completely absorbed.
When well tolerated, Body Therapy may be used morning and evening on stubborn dry or rough areas. Sensitive skin should begin with application every other day or a few times a week.
Wash your hands after application unless the palms are being treated.
BODYCARE ROUTINE
Cleanse with a mild body wash or shower oil.
Pat the skin gently dry.
Apply Body Therapy while the skin is still slightly damp.
Pay particular attention to the arms, legs, elbows, knees and heels.
Allow it to absorb completely before dressing.
Apply sunscreen to all exposed areas during the day.
COMBINES WELL WITH
• A mild, non-drying body wash.
• A nourishing shower oil.
• A simple moisturiser on rest days.
• A richer balm on exceptionally dry areas.
• Broad-spectrum sunscreen on exposed body skin.
• A hydrating hand or foot cream without additional strong acids.
USE CAUTION WHEN COMBINING
Body Therapy contains 12% lactic acid. It is therefore an active exfoliating product rather than an ordinary body lotion.
• Do not combine it with a coarse body scrub on the same area.
• Do not use it simultaneously with other strong AHA, BHA or retinol body products.
• Do not apply immediately after shaving, waxing, epilating or using depilatory cream.
• Do not use on open wounds, cracked skin, sunburn or active irritation.
• Avoid immediately after an intensive body peel, laser or IPL treatment.
• Do not apply to mucous membranes or intimate areas.
• Pause use if the skin becomes severely red, itchy, burning or flaky.
• Patch test first when the skin is sensitive.
SUN PROTECTION
Lactic acid exfoliates the upper skin layer and can increase sensitivity to sunlight. Apply broad-spectrum sunscreen daily to the arms, legs, décolleté and all other exposed areas.
Continue using sunscreen while applying Body Therapy and for at least one week after discontinuing it.
BODY THERAPY AND KERATOSIS PILARIS
Keratosis pilaris often appears as small rough bumps on the upper arms, thighs or buttocks. Lactic acid can help loosen accumulated skin cells and make the skin feel smoother.
Body Therapy may improve the visible appearance and roughness but does not cure keratosis pilaris. Seek medical advice if the skin becomes inflamed, painful, intensely itchy or otherwise concerning.
WHAT RESULTS CAN YOU EXPECT?
The skin may feel softer and better hydrated immediately after application. With regular use, dry patches, roughness and dull-looking texture may gradually become less noticeable.
Applying the product too frequently will not accelerate results and may instead cause irritation.
