Which PCA Skin cleanser suits your skin?

Dry or sensitive skin

Choose a gentle facial cleanser that removes dirt without leaving the skin feeling tight or dry. Avoid very hot water and aggressive rubbing. Follow with a hydrating toner, serum and moisturiser.

Normal or combination skin

A daily facial wash removes dirt and excess sebum and helps keep the skin feeling fresh. With combination skin, pay extra attention to the oilier T-zone without stripping the drier areas.

Oily or blemish-prone skin

Choose a cleanser formulated for oily or problematic skin. A suitable formula helps remove excess sebum and impurities from the pores. Do not cleanse too frequently or use unnecessarily aggressive products, as this may cause irritation and increased oil production.

Dull or uneven skin

A cleanser with a lightly exfoliating action can help remove accumulated dead skin cells. Do not automatically combine an exfoliating cleanser with a facial scrub, strong peel, retinol or multiple acids.

How do you use a PCA Skin cleanser?

1. Wet the face and neck with lukewarm water.
2. Apply a small amount of cleanser.
3. Massage gently using circular movements.
4. Avoid aggressive rubbing and the immediate eye contour.
5. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.
6. Gently pat the skin dry with a clean towel.
7. Follow with toner, serum, moisturiser and SPF during the day.

Use your PCA Skin cleanser every evening. Depending on your skin type and chosen product, you can also cleanse in the morning.

Double cleansing

Do you wear make-up, tinted SPF or water-resistant sunscreen? Remove it first with a suitable make-up remover. Then cleanse your skin with your PCA Skin facial cleanser.

Double cleansing is especially useful in the evening. It may not be necessary every day for dry or sensitive skin.

Combining PCA Skin cleansers

A gentle cleanser can generally be combined with PCA Skin serums and moisturisers. If you use an exfoliating or intensive purifying cleanser, combine it carefully with:

• retinol;
• strong acid peels;
• exfoliating toners;
• facial scrubs;
• Acne Gel or other drying acne products.

Alternate active products when necessary. If your skin is sensitive, choose a simple routine with a soothing serum and repairing moisturiser.
