The purpose of an effective routine is not to remove as much oil as possible. Aggressive cleansing and excessive exfoliation can disrupt the skin barrier and increase dryness, redness and irritation.

Which Fusion Meso products are suitable?

Glycolic B3 Foam

Glycolic B3 Foam is a cleansing and exfoliating foam containing glycolic acid and niacinamide. Glycolic acid helps remove accumulated dead skin cells, while niacinamide supports the natural skin barrier and a more even appearance.

It is suitable for:

• Oily and combination skin.
• Congested or visibly enlarged pores.
• Blackheads and superficial blemishes.
• Rough or dull skin texture.
• Visible marks left after blemishes.

Begin with a few evenings per week. Increase use only when the skin remains comfortable and shows no persistent dryness or redness.

ACN Corrector

ACN Corrector is a lightweight, oil-free serum for oily and acne-prone skin. Its formula contains hyaluronic acid, acetyl-glucosamine, Zinc PCA, niacinamide, betaine salicylate and panthenol.

ACN Corrector helps:

• Balance excess sebum.
• Reduce the visible appearance of pores.
• Hydrate without leaving a heavy oily layer.
• Support a clearer and more even-looking complexion.
• Maintain the skin barrier during a blemish-care routine.

The serum can be used in the morning or evening. Introduce it gradually if the skin is sensitive because the formula also contains an exfoliating ingredient.

Niacinamide 5.0

Niacinamide 5.0 is suitable for blemishes, visible redness, uneven pigmentation and a weakened skin barrier. It helps support a balanced, more even-looking complexion.

It is particularly suitable for:

• Visible pores and excess shine.

Retinol 1.0

Retinol 1.0 is a powerful serum containing pure retinol. It supports skin renewal and may help improve the appearance of clogged pores, uneven texture, post-blemish marks and visible signs of ageing.

Begin with one or two evenings per week. Do not use Retinol 1.0 on the same evening as Glycolic B3 Foam, Hyaluronic Peel or other strong exfoliants.

Only use retinol in the evening and always apply Meso Shield 50 the following morning. Do not use retinol during pregnancy. Ask a doctor before using it while breastfeeding.

Vitamin C 5.0

Vitamin C 5.0 can complement morning routines for dullness and visible marks left after spots. Follow with a lightweight moisturiser and Meso Shield 50.

Vitamin C does not directly treat active acne but can support routines targeting dullness and uneven-looking pigmentation.

Morning routine

1. Cleanse the skin gently.
2. Apply ACN Corrector or Niacinamide 5.0.
3. Use a lightweight moisturiser if needed.
4. Finish with Meso Shield 50.
5. Apply suitable makeup if desired.

If post-blemish marks are the main concern, use Vitamin C 5.0 instead of layering several active serums.

Evening routine with Glycolic B3 Foam

1. Remove makeup and sunscreen.
2. Use Glycolic B3 Foam according to its directions.
3. Apply a mild hydrating serum if needed.
4. Finish with a lightweight moisturiser or Cica Post-Care.
5. Do not use Retinol 1.0 or Hyaluronic Peel that evening.
6. Apply Meso Shield 50 the following morning.

• Night 3: Gentle cleansing, hydration and recovery only.

Which products should not be combined?

Avoid using together:

• Retinol 1.0 and Glycolic B3 Foam.
• Retinol 1.0 and Hyaluronic Peel.
• Glycolic B3 Foam and Hyaluronic Peel.
• Several exfoliating cleansers and serums at once.
• Facial scrubs alongside acids or retinol.
• Strongly drying alcohol-based products.

More active ingredients do not automatically produce faster results. Excessive exfoliation can damage the skin barrier and make blemishes and redness more noticeable.

Does oily skin need hydration?

Oily skin can also be dehydrated. Dehydration may occur together with shine, tightness and flaking. Use a lightweight hydrating serum or moisturiser rather than skipping hydration completely.

Essential Lotion or Hyaluronic Drops can be applied sparingly when additional hydration is needed.

Cosmetic skincare can help improve excess oil, blackheads, superficial blemishes, visible pores and post-blemish marks. Acne can have several causes, so results will differ between individuals.
