Fusion Meso Sun Protection with SPF 50
Daily sunscreen is one of the most important steps in any skincare routine. UV exposure can contribute to pigmentation, premature skin ageing, loss of firmness, dryness and an uneven complexion. This does not only happen during sunny holidays: everyday exposure also affects the skin.
Fusion Meso Meso Shield 50 provides high SPF 50 protection and helps defend the skin against UV radiation, blue light and environmental stress. Its formula with ectoin supports the skin when it is exposed to external factors.
Why should you wear sunscreen every day?
Daily sun protection helps:
• Protect the skin against harmful UV radiation.
• Reduce the risk of premature skin ageing.
• Limit the development and darkening of pigmentation spots.
• Maintain the results of serums, creams and professional treatments.
• Provide additional protection for sensitive or recently treated skin.
• Reduce the risk of redness caused by excessive sun exposure.
UV radiation can still reach the skin on cloudy days. Sun protection is therefore important throughout the year.
Fusion Meso Meso Shield 50
Meso Shield 50 is a daily facial sunscreen with SPF 50. It can be applied as the final step of the morning skincare routine and before makeup.
The ectoin in its formula supports protection against UV radiation, blue light and environmental stress. This makes Meso Shield 50 a suitable addition to routines targeting ageing, pigmentation, dullness and skin treated with active ingredients.
Morning routine with Fusion Meso sunscreen
- Cleanse with a suitable Fusion Meso cleanser.
- Apply Essential Lotion if desired.
- Use a suitable serum, such as Vitamin C 5.0, Niacinamide 5.0, Mela Drops or Hyaluronic Drops.
- Apply a moisturiser if your skin needs one.
- Allow the skincare products to absorb briefly.
- Apply Meso Shield 50 generously and evenly to the face, neck and other exposed areas.
- Apply makeup afterwards if desired.
Use enough product to achieve the stated level of protection. Always follow the application instructions provided on the packaging.
When should sunscreen be reapplied?
Reapply sunscreen when spending extended periods outdoors. As a general guideline, repeat the application every two hours and after heavy perspiration, swimming or towel drying.
Makeup containing SPF or a day cream with a low protection factor is generally not a complete substitute for a separate sunscreen applied in a sufficient amount.
Which Fusion Meso products combine well with sunscreen?
Vitamin C 5.0
Vitamin C is suitable for the morning routine. Apply the serum after cleansing and finish with Meso Shield 50. Sunscreen helps protect the skin against additional damage caused by UV exposure.
Mela Drops
A serum for uneven skin tone and visible pigmentation. Daily SPF 50 is essential in a pigmentation routine because sunlight can make existing dark spots more noticeable.
Niacinamide 5.0
Niacinamide can be used for uneven skin tone, blemishes and a weakened skin barrier. Combine it in the morning with a suitable moisturiser and Meso Shield 50.
Hyaluronic Drops
A hydrating serum that can be applied underneath sunscreen. Follow with Hyaluronic Moisturizer or Ceramid Moisturizer if needed and finish with Meso Shield 50.
Retinol 1.0
Use retinol in the evening and introduce it gradually. Always apply Meso Shield 50 the following morning, as skincare routines containing retinol require careful daily sun protection.
Glycolic B3 Foam and peels
Exfoliating acid products are generally used in the evening or according to a professional treatment plan. Protect the skin carefully with Meso Shield 50 the following morning.
Sun protection after a professional treatment
The skin can temporarily become more sensitive to sunlight after a peel, microneedling, nanopen treatment or another intensive procedure. Always follow the aftercare instructions provided by your skincare professional.
Depending on the treatment, a soothing product such as Repair Cream or Cica Post-Care Cream may be combined with Meso Shield 50. Only apply products when permitted by the treatment protocol and when the skin is ready for them.
Which products should not be used together in the same morning routine?
Avoid applying strong acids, intensive peels and Retinol 1.0 directly underneath sunscreen in the morning. These active products are generally more suitable for the evening routine.
Do not combine several strongly exfoliating products without professional guidance. Excessive use of active ingredients can disrupt the skin barrier and cause redness, dryness or irritation.
Important application tips
• Use Meso Shield 50 as the final skincare step and before makeup.
• Do not mix sunscreen with serum, moisturiser or foundation. Mixing can result in an uneven protective layer.
• Apply evenly to the face, neck and ears.
• Remember the décolleté, hands and other exposed skin areas.
• Reapply regularly when spending time outdoors.
• Combine sunscreen with shade, protective clothing and sunglasses.
• Avoid intense midday sun whenever possible.
• Use high sun protection consistently after active serums, retinol and peels.
Sunscreen does not make unlimited sun exposure safe. No sunscreen product can provide complete protection.
Who is Fusion Meso sun protection suitable for?
Meso Shield 50 is particularly suitable for:
• Skin with pigmentation or an uneven complexion.
• Skin showing visible signs of ageing.
• Dull or sun-damaged skin.
• Skincare routines containing vitamin C, retinol or exfoliating acids.
• Skin following professional treatments, when permitted by the aftercare protocol.
• Anyone who wants to help prevent premature ageing caused by UV exposure.
