Ekseption Mixlab Hyaluronic PHA Serum 70 ml
Ekseption Mixlab Hyaluronic PHA Serum is a hydrating, gently exfoliating serum for dull, rough or uneven-looking skin. Its minimalist formula combines 2% low-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid with 5% polyhydroxy acids, known as PHAs.
The PHAs gradually remove accumulated dead cells from the skin’s surface. This helps the skin appear smoother, fresher and more even while making visible pores and fine lines look less noticeable. Hyaluronic acid simultaneously supports moisture retention and helps the skin feel supple and appear plumper.
The oil-free serum has a lightweight gel texture. It can be used alone or combined with another suitable Ekseption Mixlab serum.

• Helps remove accumulated dead skin cells.
• Supports a smoother and softer skin texture.
• Helps visible pores appear less noticeable.
• Supports a fresher and more even-looking complexion.
• Hydrates and helps retain moisture.
• Helps dryness lines and fine lines appear smoother.
• Can help prepare the skin for subsequent skincare products.
• Does not leave a heavy or greasy feel.
Key ingredients
PHA – polyhydroxy acids
The formula contains 5% PHA, including gluconolactone and lactobionic acid. PHAs exfoliate the skin’s surface and have a larger molecular size than many traditional AHAs, allowing them to act more gradually.
PHAs combine exfoliating properties with moisture-binding care. They are often gentler than strong glycolic-acid products but may still irritate sensitive or damaged skin.
Hyaluronic acid
The formula contains 2% low-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid. It helps retain moisture and supports supple, smooth and plumper-looking skin.
Fruit acid blend
The formula also contains cosmetic acids including lactic, citric and tartaric acid. These support exfoliation and a more refined-looking skin texture.
Which skin types is it suitable for?
Hyaluronic PHA Serum is particularly suitable for:
• Normal or combination skin.
• Oily skin with visible pores.
• Dull or tired-looking skin.
• Rough or uneven skin texture.
• Fine lines and dehydration lines.
• Superficial dark spots or uneven-looking tone.
• Mature or sun-damaged-looking skin.
• Skin accustomed to gentle exfoliating acids.
If your skin is very dry, sensitive, irritated or has a damaged barrier, use the serum cautiously or begin with a repairing and hydrating routine.

Which Mixlab serums combine well?
• Hyaluronic B5 for additional hydration and skin comfort.
• Hyaluronic NIACIN for skin balance and a more even-looking complexion.
• Hyaluronic FLAVONOIDS for redness-prone skin, provided the skin tolerates PHA.
• Hyaluronic PEPTIDES in a separate routine for hydration and age-supporting care.
Which products should not be used in the same routine?
Avoid directly combining Hyaluronic PHA with:
• Super Retinol Fluid.
• Super Salicylic Fluid.
• Other AHA, BHA or PHA products.
• Resurfacing Activators.
• Triple Acid Peeling Mask.
• Strong exfoliating powders or scrubs.
• Professional chemical peels.
• Highly concentrated vitamin C if the skin is easily irritated.
Use retinol and other exfoliating products on alternate evenings. Do not use the serum immediately before or after a professional peel, nanopen, laser or other intensive skin treatment unless advised by a professional.
Important information
A mild, brief tingling sensation may occur. Persistent burning, pronounced redness, itching or excessive flaking is not a desirable result. Rinse the product off and discontinue use if significant irritation develops.
Do not apply to damaged skin, active eczema, cold sores or severely inflamed skin. Avoid direct contact with the eyes.
Use sunscreen every day, as exfoliation may increase sensitivity to sunlight. Always check the current ingredient list on the packaging if you have allergies.
