Ekseption Skincare: professional skincare at home
Ekseption Skincare is a professional skincare brand that works with organic acids, skin-friendly formulas and carefully balanced pH levels. Its products support natural skin renewal and are designed to target concerns such as dehydration, dullness, pigmentation, blemishes, enlarged pores, redness and skin ageing.
The homecare products complement professional Ekseption peels performed in a beauty salon. By combining the right cleanser, a suitable serum, a moisturising cream and daily sun protection, you can create a complete skincare routine tailored to your skin type and individual concerns.
Why choose Ekseption Skincare?
Ekseption offers:
- skincare products with carefully balanced pH levels;
- gentle exfoliation with ingredients such as PHA, lactic acid, enzymes and salicylic acid;
- concentrated Mixlab serums with hyaluronic acid;
- targeted skincare for acne, pigmentation, redness and signs of ageing;
- repair creams for dry, sensitive or recently treated skin;
- daily protection against UV radiation and premature skin ageing;
- products for use before and after professional peels.
A simple Ekseption skincare routine
An effective skincare routine does not need to contain many products. The most important thing is to choose products that suit your skin and introduce active ingredients gradually.
Morning routine
- Cleanse
Cleanse your skin with All-in-One Cleanse & Peel or another Ekseption cleanser suited to your skin type. - Lotion or facial mist
Apply a lotion or mist to complete the cleansing step and prepare your skin for serum. - Mixlab serum
Choose one or no more than two serums that target your skin’s needs. - Moisturiser
Apply a hydrating or nourishing cream if needed. - Sun protection
Always complete your morning routine with suitable sun protection. When using exfoliating acids, retinol, Activators or products targeting pigmentation, we recommend SPF 50.
Evening routine
- Remove make-up and cleanse your skin.
- Apply a lotion or facial mist.
- Apply a suitable Mixlab serum.
- Finish with a maintenance cream, Repair Cream or Resurfacing Activator.
Do not automatically use every active product at the same time. A simple and consistent routine often provides greater skin comfort than frequently changing products or combining too many active ingredients.
Which Mixlab serum suits your skin?
Mixlab serums combine hyaluronic acid with a concentrated active ingredient. Ekseption Mixlab serums are designed to be combined, but it is best to begin with one serum. Add a second serum only after confirming that your skin responds well to the first product.
- Hyaluronic Vit C: for dull skin, antioxidant care and a more even-looking complexion.
- Hyaluronic Niacin: for redness, uneven skin tone and blemishes.
- Hyaluronic ZnPCA: for oily, blemish-prone or acne-prone skin and enlarged pores.
- Hyaluronic B5: to hydrate and soothe sensitive skin.
- Hyaluronic Ectoin: for sensitive, dry or redness-prone skin.
- Hyaluronic Peptides: for fine lines, firmness and signs of skin ageing.
- Hyaluronic Copper Peptides: for hydration, skin recovery, elasticity and a firmer-looking complexion.
- Hyaluronic TRX: for pigmentation and uneven skin tone.
- Hyaluronic Flavonoids: for skin with redness and visible capillaries.

Which products are best not used together?
Certain combinations are not necessarily prohibited, but they may be too intensive when used together. Sensitive skin in particular may become dry, red, irritated or uncomfortable.
It is best not to use the following products in the same evening routine:
- a Resurfacing Activator and retinol;
- a Resurfacing Activator and a salicylic acid product;
- retinol and a peel or exfoliating mask;
- several powerful exfoliating products at the same time;
- Enzyme, Salicylic or Black Powder Cleanse & Peel with a strong Activator if your skin reacts easily;
- at-home peels immediately before or after a professional peel, unless advised by your beauty therapist.
Alternate intensive products instead. For example, use an Activator on one evening and only a hydrating serum with a repairing cream on the following evening.
Combining vitamin C, niacinamide and copper peptides
Mixlab serums have been developed to allow personalised combinations. For sensitive skin or when in doubt, we recommend keeping the routine simple:
- Morning: Hyaluronic Vit C, followed by moisturiser and SPF.
- Evening: Hyaluronic Niacin, Peptides or Copper Peptides, followed by a suitable night cream.
Vitamin C and niacinamide can be used within the same skincare routine. If your skin reacts easily, divide them between your morning and evening routines.
Would you like to use Hyaluronic Vit C and Hyaluronic Copper Peptides? For a simple routine, use vitamin C in the morning and copper peptides in the evening. This helps prevent an unnecessarily complicated routine and makes it easier to assess how your skin responds to each product.
How to use Ekseption Activators
Resurfacing Activators are micro-exfoliating night creams. They support skin renewal and can be used to prepare the skin for a professional peel or as a temporary intensive homecare treatment.
Introduce an Activator gradually if you have sensitive skin:
- begin by using it two or three evenings a week;
- increase the frequency only if your skin remains comfortable;
- avoid the eye area;
- use a repairing cream on the other evenings;
- apply SPF 50 every morning.
A mild tingling sensation may occur. Temporarily discontinue use if you experience persistent redness, burning, excessive flaking or irritation.
Additional care before and after professional peels
Before and after a professional peel, the skin benefits from a simple and gentle routine. Only use the preparation and aftercare products recommended by your beauty therapist. After treatment, focus on gentle cleansing, skin recovery, hydration and sun protection.
Ice Cream Repair is specially designed to support skin comfort and recovery, including after a peel. Apply it after cleansing, lotion and, if required, a gentle serum. Avoid the eye contour.
